Resumes are private until you share them
Every resume starts private. Only you can open it. When you turn on a resume’s public link, anyone with the link can view it. You stay in control:- Search engines are told not to index public resume pages. A public link is for the people you send it to, not for search results.
- Add a password so only people who know it can open the page.
- Turn the link off at any time.
- Private notes stay private. Notes you keep on a resume never appear on the public page, in PDFs or in Word files.
You decide how applications are sent
When Hiresweep fills an application form, your Apply profile’s submit mode decides what happens next:
Your resume and answers go only to the employer you apply to. Once an application is sent, Hiresweep can’t recall it from the employer’s systems. Optional questions about demographics, disability or veteran status are sent only if you answer them. See Setting up your apply profile and Applying to jobs.
AI runs when you ask for it
You can create, edit, export and share resumes without AI. Hiresweep AI works on your content when you use an AI feature, such as the agent, a rewrite, a resume check, an import or tailoring a resume to a job. The content that request needs is sent to the AI provider that processes it. Repeat job searches that you set up run on their own schedule, daily or weekly, with the Targets and filters you chose. You can pause or stop them on Discover. See Repeating job searches and Using AI.Protect your account
- Sign in with a passkey instead of a password.
- Turn on two-factor authentication for password sign-in.
- Review the AI assistants you connected under Settings → Connected assistants, and disconnect any you no longer use. See Managing connected assistants.
- Treat API keys like passwords. A key has full access to your account until it expires. See Using the API.
