Hiresweep works as an AI-assisted resume builder. Its AI features run on Hiresweep AI, which is built into the service: there is no provider, model or API key to configure.
What AI does in Hiresweep
- In the builder, the Agent card scores your resume against a job post and suggests edits as cards you accept, skip or ask it to rewrite. Nothing changes until you accept. A Resume check reviews the whole resume and lists what to fix.
- In the Agent workspace, the agent drafts a resume from a few lines about you, or reworks an existing one on a separate working copy.
- In Applications, Hiresweep reads a posting, scores your resume against it, tailors a copy and writes a cover letter.
- On import, it turns a PDF or Word resume into one you can edit.
The resume builder, templates, exports and sharing all work without AI.

Built in, counted by plan
Each request to Hiresweep AI uses one AI action from your plan. You decide when to use AI and when to send resume content to it. See Plans and usage.
Where AI fits in the workflow
AI is most useful once you have resume content or source material to work from. Add a job post in the builder to see which requirements your resume misses, accept the suggestions that are true for you, and run a Resume check before you send it. Use an agent chat when you want to try a bigger rewrite on a copy before deciding what belongs in your final resume.
When not to use AI
Don’t use AI features if you don’t want resume content sent to an AI model. Don’t rely on AI output as final application material without reading it, and use the builder directly when you need exact control over wording.
